Its not as if people count and simply add things. Indian muslims keep harping about undercount in order to boost their political claims. If the census shows them as 250 they will claim to be 350. Its an unending demand. In the UK its the same thing. There is always an undercount when it comes to Muslims in non Muslim nations. If anything the hindus in pakistan and bd are really undercalculated. Pakistan had its last census in 1998 and has been erratic in terms of when and where is conducts its census. Maybe Panther can shed light on that. Same can be said for most muslim countries. I would say in general the number of muslims in the world are heavily overestimated. A lot of the muslim countries dont do censuses or have no history of conducting a census. For example the population of Afghanistan was found to be heavily overestimated when Afghanistan finally conducted an census recently under UN supervision. People just assumed they would grow at a certain rate because of what they grew before the Taliban. The result was their actual population came out to be a lot less than estimates. But India's count on religion is a lot more accurate than say even the USA (who do not collect religious data) purely due to sample size and statisticians who are accustomed to dealing with such data through the decades. Its the same with the India over taking China debate. There are close to 100-150 million people in China who were born outside the one child policy who are not exactly documented. They kicked us out of west Punjab and we did the same. Yet you let them stay in Delhi, Gujarat, Mumbai etc whilst they kicked out all of your people in Pakistan. You can blame Gandhi and Bandit Nehru for this. Grow a pair and save your lands. As for another partition, it won't happen anytime soon, muslims are very few in the army.
