Despite his innings in South Africa,still bot sold on Pujara's ability to play quality pace...Will hold my judgement on Rahane. Infact,might sound weird when I say this but Pappu Patel seems to be a good batsman against pace bowling,but has too many brainfarts and his keeping

rohit can play phast bowling but pujara cant? have u seen any of rohit innings in south africa? in odis he made a fool of himself!

rayadu is good batsman did well on a tours yesterday his side collapsed badly and he again got fighting 50 they were 117-7 and he made 50 odd out of them..imo good bat out performed all manduck ,mukund and co then there is tiwary he scored well even against england should have been our no 6 is inured now..i dont think he will survive on bouncy tracks but very reliable on indian spin tracks imo atleast have batsmen who are useful at home :D imo all of these guys are good enough to come in our current batting side on form alone :giggle: and as u mentioned we have rahane waiting in squad and not getting into 11.. there is enough batting talent need to get them into side and hope for best give backing like we gave to kohli im sure there will be more good batsmen coming through but whts the point we will play raina and yuvraj again and public will think we dont have nay talent coming through and statements like dravid gave dont help the cause either..

He is talented and should be playing tests. Might as well keep giving him chances in ODI's. Although not every 20 innings for a 100 like you said... That's slightly high. It would be about 15. So that's 20 hundreds in 300 innings. Good ODI record that. :two_thumbs_up:

How this incredibly over-rated, equally under-achieving player keeps making the playing XI ahead of more deserving candidates like Manoj Tiwary, Saurabh Tiwary, Ambati Rayudu is beyond reason. What annoys me about people's attitude is the inconsistency. Here is a guy with obvious talent and technique and despite the fact that he's averaging 61 in FC cricket, we're sitting here debating his worth in Test cricket due to his poor ODI performances ... Meanwhile our Test side in the last 18 months has lost 8-0 away from home and 2-1 at home to major Test nations and gone from 1st to 5th ... Seriously ... To the people that hate him ... Honestly, what is wrong with giving this guy a chance in Test cricket, the format that he has earnt a place in based on domestic cricket?
