Rohit Sharma, the amount of chance he got, no other player has gotten that many chances. Don't forget names like Ajinkya Rahane, Zaheer Khan, Ramesh Powar, Dhawal Kulkarni, Abhishek Nayar. They don't live in Honolulu. They all are from Mumbai. A Mumbai person should never complaint about nepotism or anything like that.

Ramesh Powar? :giggle: The list can go on man. As common man said, individual performances matter most. TN also have Badrinaths, Sarath's and Srirams who never got a chance in intl cricket. Atleast Badri scored a 50 in his debut against the saffers. I liked Ramesh Powar, but that time Bhajji was doing all right, and hence he was kept out of the team and when Bhajji wasn't doing good, Ashwin had taken over. Dhawal Kulkarni wasn't special so far. Even if u want to blame somebody for rohits selections blame dhoni he has said how he regards rohit as a special talent.Dhoni backs his players like ishant sharma and rohit ,its his good quality as well as bad.

Rohit is a superb back foot player, will have no probs long term overseas. Raina as we know has clear weakness which is expolited
