gakgupta Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Because Virat is a ****. Because Nohit Sharma is allowed unlimited chances to score no runs. Because why would you pick your best batman? Because the Indian cricket team should never allow class to trump internal team politics. Because Pujara could walk into any other team in the world at No3 Well done Virat. I can fully understand why you've won zero IPLs as Captain. looks like u r frustrated mate but take it easy.... I too think rohit doesn't have it him to be consistent at test level.....for a very simple reason, he doesn't know where his off-stump is.......he cannot leave enough deliveries
Vijy Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 My initial hunch about internal team politics is coming true. Kohli cannot' date=' I repeat simply cannot allow any threats to his claim over captaincy. As of this moment not just Che, but also Rahane, Ashwin, Vijay are in the line of fire. Kohli has the full backing of that SOB Shastri and Mumbai lobby though :((. Believe me if you thought MSD was Captain Corrupt, Kohli will turn out much much worse if not checked right now. Kohli's blatant corruption is the main reason we aren't leading 2-0 now. [b']Kohli doesn't score enough to compensate for his blind favoritism, dumbfeck captaincy and dropped catches. Even if you remove all these factors, he still doesn't score enough.

KL Rahul once - fine unlucky. Twice out in the same fashion?

maniac Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Now there are 2 ends of the spectrum one end that believe Rohit is talented and needs to be invested in and the other end that think he is undeserving and he is only in the squad due to lobbying that could be his friendship with Dhoni and Virat or regional lobbying. No matter which spectrum you belong to,it is obvious that you don't deserve a run if you under perform and yes I 100% agree to that. but here is the problem, some of the posts on ICF show irrational hate.......Rohit is constantly criticized apparently by our resident "technique" experts of how flawed his technique is or how he looks like a tailender and by the same benchmark apparently every other player is flawless. Let me throw in a little stat nugget here....despite having a stop and start series...Rohit is just 12 runs behind Rahane and has already outscored Rahul....Virat is only 40 runs ahead of him....I am not saying he has done better than all the names mentioned but the fact is he has been getting starts and has not flopped or is as bad as he is made to seem on here. You guys need to take a chill pill.,....I guess with Ishant performing all the hate is diverted to one individual now lol.

Most fans believe whoever scores more runs, has better technique.
sage Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I now fully understand why Pujara was not picked for the first two test.

Rohit will be selected in SA series ahead of Pujara after this knock I'm sure because unlike Pujara he doesn't need to score 150+ (SunnyG's words). And then you'll see why so many fans hate the fact that he's in the team. The guy can't play swing to save his life. And yeah don't give the stats bs, BK scored more than Pujara and Kohli in England, is he a better bat? Rohit started scoring when they hid him behind the top order.. clearly the team management believes as well that he doesn't have the game to face swing/seam.
Vijy Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Here is a great article exposing the corrupt and utterly biased Mumbai lobby and their defense of Nohit http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/915851.html Kesavan has never been shy of courting controversy and expressing his views.
Number Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Nohit's fiancee Ritika ties Rakhi to Kohli. Kohli will have to accommodate his Jijaji.
sage Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists at it again :giggle:
