And already he is reacting quickly, for example many people said he favored Bhaji this and that. After 1-2 tests of trying him he has realised he is not on the test level anymore and dropped him. So relax. It's not like he is backing an under performer for 10 straight tests. He has been in charge for 2-3. Make judgements later.

Today while I happened to catch the lunch session talk show. SunnyG said for Pujara to make a case for his selection he'll have to score 150 score. It just boiled my blood. Manjrekar was going on and on about how Pujara's technique has changed from before and that he's more susceptible to swing bowling than before just like Kohli and Dhawan. Not one of them criticized Rohit. Idk why and how Rohit escapes criticism and no one raises an eyebrow as he keeps getting chances after chances despite failures. If he plays vs SA over Pujara, it'll be a travesty.

Maybe it's not his opinion - what he said probably reflects how the team management thinks.

As of this moment not just Che, but also Rahane, Ashwin, Vijay are in the line of fire. Kohli has the full backing of that SOB Shastri and Mumbai lobby though :((. Believe me if you thought MSD was Captain Corrupt, Kohli will turn out much much worse if not checked right now. Kohli's blatant corruption is the main reason we aren't leading 2-0 now. Kohli doesn't score enough to compensate for his blind favoritism, dumbfeck captaincy and dropped catches.

Team managment has alway confused ODI form as a criteria for test selection (which explains yuvraj, and raina getting so many chances.) And the last 2 years nohit has been averaging 56 at a strike rate of 95 with 2 double tons in ODI. Mixed with the fact that Pujara went 22 innings scoring only 3 50s and no centuries. But surely now Pujara has cemented his spot at number 3. 7 centuries in 49 innings 6 of them 130+ scores. He's clearly the best long innings specialist in India. Team management is stupid but their is a method to their stupidity.
