Raghav_12 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 The justification that is pouring in for murder of rationalists on here may be an indicator how bad situation is becoming in India as well.
diga Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 nobody is justifying the murder.. just questioning the rationale in blaming it on right wing
coffee_rules Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Didn't know URA was killed for his anti-idolatory views! Didn't he die a natural death?
Raghav_12 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Didn't know URA was killed for his anti-idolatory views! Didn't he die a natural death? Reading tweets I also got the impression if he was killed. But he in fact he died natural death only.
Number Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 example of rationalists Ram used to drink alcohol with Sita and had extra marital affair.:cantstop: How is this a rational view ?
rkt.india Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Ram used to drink alcohol with Sita and had extra marital affair.:cantstop: How is this a rational view ? Problem with these so called rationalists is that they try to enforce their views and insult others belief without thinking rationally that when it comes to beliefs, no logic or rationale works. Don't these guys have rationale to respect others' belief. Have your own rationale but why preach it to others and disparage their religion and belief. It augurs for everyone, Hindu or Muslim.
hhunaeh Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 The man spent a lifetime studying kannada literature, but people here are just waiting for a chance to make common cause with the likes of thugs like bhuvith shetty. But hey this is what makes one a virat hindu these days, threatening people, boasting about cutting of people's hands, bursting crackers and making happy gleeful posts on dead people...

coffee_rules Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Nobody here is celebrating the murder, but how quickly do some jump to conclusions to fit their agenda. some people already believe Modi gave the order for the hit.
rkt.india Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 There is no ond who has justified the murder, but Hindi me isey kehte hain padi lakdi lena. I recently had a discussion with a hinduvadi about religion and God and he started saying problem is with me. Belief is personal, don't know why these rationalists and religious people feel superior to others owing to their beliefs.
someone Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Since when did a tweet from a noob become evidence, let the police do their investigation. We saw that with the Nun case, became big news and was completely blamed on RSS, turned out Muslims did it and no news covered the truth. And the term rationalists, seems in India, you can start calling yourself one by urinating on Idols. Just like secularists, it's a heavy term which can be largely misused.

I understand people get upset when their religion is targeted, but religion is not owned by anyone.. Anyone can mock them, insult them if they don't like it. Edit. My problem with people like Raghav is that they are ready to mock Hinduism and make fun of them but when it comes to religions like Islam, they would say that the insults should have been avoided. When you two yardsticks for two different religions, you are just a coward and want to target only Hinduism because you are pseudo secular.

Just an example. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=327205 yes.. that didn't look right. shouldn't have been allowed.. That Shiva character scene hurts and bothers me. It would be wrong if that scene gets passed by censor board.

You and I understand that but fanatics dont. They exist in every religion and are ready to be offensive about anything related to their religion.
