Does anyone know if stats from KPL and the like are included in the T20 stats in cricinfo? I know IPL, Big Bash, CPL,etc + International T20s are included. It would be a Travesty if stats from a tourney like KPL are added. Vinnie would have legendary stats then.

^No it isn't counted with the Official T20 stats. In CI KPL is written as 'OTHER T20' while IPL is written as 'T20'

The highly popular Celebrity Cricket League will be a part of a BCCI approved tournament. Celebrity Cricket League is played between 8 teams from 8 major film industries in India. The Kannada film industry is represented by Karnataka Bulldozers. The Karnataka team is captained by Kichcha Sudeep and has won the title twice. Apparently the team will now be a part of the Karnataka Premier League. KPL is a BCCI approved tournament and all the players in KPL are professional Cricketers. This is an interesting change in the game where a non-professional cricket team will become a part of the tournament.

Not sure if it happened - hearing about KPL for the first time. BCCI approved this? :banghead: Also Venky Prasad and Sunil Joshi were supposed to be playing the 2015 edition ( current edition ) when I googled about KPL. Is it true?

Yes. This is true and that team is playing in this season too. :haha: The team name is Rockstars. There are like the associates of this league. Everybody likes to roll them over for fun. :giggle: The 2 oldies will join this celebrity team Rockstars for some professional experience. There is David Johnson too.
