amiret Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 If it is true ,It's the end of the world as we know it .... salmanfan4 1
G_B_ Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Hmm he is quite young to retire imo salmanfan4 1
amiret Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 If news is true ,South African board should specially orchestrate a farewell home test series against West Indies .That would be befitting for the finest batsman of our era . Laaloo, sscomp32 and Ironhide 3
vayuu1 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Ab,amla, faf and steyn will retire at the same time , and the thing is all these guys are well over 30, the biggest problem for saffers has been replacing kallis and smith, replacing these guys especially ab and steyn, will be a huge task.
Adi_91 Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) I hope to not see him retire anytime soon. If SA does badly in the test series which seems likely going by the first test so far, I think it may happen. Edited December 29, 2015 by Adi_91
maniac Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 so if he retires now will he be an unfulfilled promise?brcause according to some icfrs he is the 2nd coming of Bradman + srt and every other superstar all rolled into one and going by his unremarkable innings in crunch games might just be that.
