Parthiv can only be effective as an opener,someone like uthappa or N.Ojha could have batted anywhere and be relied to give it a whack.

The 2-1 series lost was under some other captain I suppose. A captain who lost 2-1 to Pakistan at home would have lost Asia cup as well though I admit, it was a big blunder by Kohli to bowl a spinner to Afridi the last over when he was struggling to put bat to ball ven against Bhuvneswar.

. moreover Pakistan's ODI record is always good against India whether at home or not or under any captain. 

In this millenium, in the last 16 years in head-to-head ODIs , both series and  as well as matches won by both teams are the same I think.
