So are there any reserve days for rain affected matches in league stage, semifinals or finals.

Already several matches are getting washed out in qualifiers because of rain?

Am actually kinda happy that the game has been shifted out of Dharamsala. I don't want rain to play spoilsport next Saturday.

I don't there are reserve days for league games. Probably there are reserve days for the KOs.

India needs to improve the drainage and facilities so that matches can resume quickly once the rain stops. Kolkata is one of the worst, if not the worst in India for rain interrupted matches.  Need to sort this out...Get  a R&D team and fix these issues

I slightly disagree. Even now in Dharamsala, they are restarting almost immediately after the rain stops. Its not as bad as it may seem. It seems to be raining pretty heavily in Dharamsala and I believe in some parts of North India.

Some grounds are very good in this respect like Dharamsala,Mohali, etc.  However, other grounds quite poor  was well especially Kolkata (atleast it used to be , not sure if they've upgraded it for the WC).  Even after hours of the rain stopping, many matches have been called curtailed or even called off in the IPL recently.  A top tier ground like Kolkata should have better facilities for sure.

Yeah, we don't know much about Eden Gardens at all. I hope there is no rain interruption in Kolkata during the tournament. Main sufferer will be Pakistan as 2 of their 4 group matches are there. :cantstop:

Eden Garden will never be that good because of the kind of soil it has. Drainage depends a lot on soil type of that particular area.

For now, good weather is expected in Kolkata. So, fingers crossed, we will be fine.
