Ram Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 its not incompetence MM ... its high time you realized that its humanely impossible to stand in a test match for 5 days and expect them to get it right .... aint happening. Not with the kind of myriad and complex situations that cricket throws up. Not quite... Have seen a million matches before when the umpires actually did a decent job...
fineleg Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 MM won't accept Boss Bhai. I just can't understand that. Meanwhile updating this thread: Kumble Bucknored!!! DENIED his hat-trick. Cud have been given out LBW the Symmo! Very close. Hussey was out long back not given. (despite what donny's radio told him) THIS IS A 1-1 TEST - Umpires totally spoiling it!!!!
The Outsider Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Don't agree. I could see it was bouncing too high.

Mr. Wicket Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Actually, Kumble's last shout looked to be heading over the top - Hawkeye showed the ball to be clearing the stumps by a bit. Great comment though - one of the commentators said "Kumble isn't impressed with Bucknor." Akram followed that "Nobody is - impressed with Bucknor."
Anakin Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Yep, for a change Bucknor got on right, miracles do happen I suppose.
Guest dada_rocks Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 My questionis audacity of Clarke to hang in there for split second expecting umpire to overlook that dismissal.. priceless..:haha:
fineleg Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 My questionis audacity of Clarke to hang in there for split second expecting umpire to overlook that dismissal.. priceless..:haha: And Kumble was appealing his lungs out for M.Clarke, with Bucknor taking his time to raise the finger. If S.B. said there was no bat in M.Clarke's dismissal, then I'm sure Kumble would have knocked his face there.

bigdhoni7 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 its good to see there is some honest aussie media out there especially against the trash coming from theage (yuvraj attitude problems) and smh (trying to bring caste issues into the team).
MundaPakistani Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Terrrible game for the umpires. Bowlers from both sides have been extremely unlucky(especially the Indians).
