Ankit_sharma03 Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Rod Marsh, Australian chairman of selectors, issued a stern message to Maxwell. "We know Glenn can be a match winner for Australia but his current form doesn't warrant selection," Marsh said in a press release. "He is averaging less than 10 runs in Australia's last 10 one-day internationals, so the numbers speak for themselves. "We've asked Glenn to go away and focus on consistent performances for Victoria and Australia A to earn his way back into the Australian side," he added. The number of chances guys like Rohit,Dhawan, raina, Akmal, shehzad, afridi gets as compare to players like Shaun marsh, Maxwell is different. Their selectors demands consistency our managements expect them to deliver that one match winning performance in ages and keeps playing them with an excuse that the day they come off they'll win u games but thats game comes once in blue moon. Lets leave us the point of Australia's ability to play spin as even our ability to play moving ball n now even spin is under question. The whole point is consistency over number of years that the team has Adi_91, Bigg Brother, tweaker and 1 other 4
tweaker Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Our selectors will never take such decisions, many of the players were repeatedly selected inspite of inconsistent performance.Selectors have selected the team from a certain core group& they have shied away from experimenting by selecting some rookie players. Most shocking decision was to select Harbhajan Singh, instead a young spinners would have gain valuable experience SLICKR392, express bowling, Garuda and 2 others 5
Adi_91 Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Well, this is well known and so far BCCI has not shown the guts to drop players based on their bad performance. Don't think it is happening anytime soon. tweaker, Garuda and Ankit_sharma03 3

When money comes first before selecting the right team, there is a problem. Garuda 1
Bigg Brother Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Maxwell was bagging ducks in last many matches.. Even against our pathetic bowling attack,he came good in one match after Australia was 6 down. India series,NZ series(averaged 1.5)and tri series..I think according to Australian Standard,he got a fare run.
maniac Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Maxwell is a watered down version of Rohit....Has a lot of talent too.......Match winner on his day...Hope he comes back stronger like Ro did in 2011 and in 2013
