gakgupta Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 ICF has come up with some good names to various players like Tailunt, Sir Jadeja, Dhoni etc etc... What would be a good name for this stupid? I am totally pissed off with his decision to back ROHIT but I let it go, as i thought it was for one test matches. But he seems to back him continuously. Ignoring Pujara is still okie but backing ROHIT ahead of vijay is what pissing me off... He deserves a name as he is keeping his personal agenda ahead of country. In 2003, ganguly backed Chopra ahead of Ramesh (2003 India tour of Australia). I thought it was the most stupid decision anyone could have taken.....He literally ended the career of Ramesh....after that decision, this seem to be the worst decision. sandeep 1
fineleg Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Rat Name apart - dropping Murali Vijay is a very stupid move. (more than ChePu). Put Shikhar Dhawan on a lively track and he will be a sitting duck. And if you need to find a better batsman than ChePu - find another like try Karun Nair or whoever. But Rohit lol-o-lol Edited August 14, 2016 by fineleg Rasgulla and sandeep 2
sourab10forever Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 There is another side to it. 1)we are playing WI is a relatively weaker than other teams. Hence it would be the best time to try out player. 2)Long home season stretch coming up...we need backup players. Vijay isn't sitting outside on basis of merit...it's just the situation.

But Rohit lol-o-lol problem is none of them #3 batsman. You cannot make any TDH bat at 3. Nair doesn't bat at 3 FC cricket. #3 is as specialist a position as openers especially for India touring overseas. sandeep 1
