Bollywood is not what got him noticed in India tbh .

But obviously he is only 2 films old and in terms of numbers his popularity wont compare but just the people that rate him are people that matter in india and his popularity chart has unusual growth.

Nowhere close to the droves of people moving out of Pak. I had a colleague in US, originally from Pak. He was so sh!t scared just to go back to his country for his wedding in Karachi, that he ended up moving it to Dubai. That is a guy born and brought up in Karachi.

With his career in Bollywood in limbo now and with hardly 2 films, I don't think he has had much impact. 

 

Honestly, not many people will miss him or any Pak artist. Sorry to say this.
