Yes, he is. Growing up with tales of how bratty he is, never felt the least like that as commentator.

That might slow the game down tremendously. I think a large number of appeals the umpires turn down are done so because they aren't sure that the batsman is out, not that they're sure that the batsman is not out. If they start giving all of those out the number of times batsmen review will increase to unmanageable levels.

fair point.  ANd there's probably a behind the scenes metric system rating the umps on how many decisions get overturned.
