7 new players in this team were added last minute as ACC changed the cut criteria for age. A left arm pacer Izhan Sayed missed out due to that.

Probably a good thing that there is no seamers on this pitch, pace off the ball is the way to go. Seamers are getting hit without much effort.

I know about that fiasco.

 

The 2 pacers in the team must not be of a similar quality as Avesh Khan ....otherwise one would have played.

Just checked cricarchive .they also list him as a leggie .  But opened the bowling in all the matches he played

they have only played 1 seamer in every match

I understand that they are going with so many spinners in every game because of pitches but still doesn't look good to me that they have not played any seamer today or at least two seamers per game in each game. 

 

This is the level they should expose fast bowlers for sure.

He looks like a skiddy bowler and the ball is hurrying on to the batsman.

Cricinfo is all messed up that means with their profile info. Or may be these same bowlers also bowl spin or from short run up, some thing which these guys do a lot at under 15/17/19 level and get away with amd they though earlier that he was spinner.

they had once written Umesh Yadav as left arm spin when he played his first Duleep trophy match.

Both Kamlesh and Yash are 17. Both looks good, TBH, for their age.
