Why doesn't Team India fast track young cricketers anymore?

This "system" that people in this thread are talking about has been going on even before Dravid and Kumble became coaches. Recalling failed seniors hasn't worked at all for us. Since 2013, the following players have been recalled into team India in atleast 1 format: 

Karthik, Yuvraj, Gambhir, Harbhajan, Mishra, and Nehra. 
There are reports that the last name imight be included in the ODI team soon FFS

None of the names mentioned has secured their place in the team and are now rightfully dropped after wasting time. What did we learn by recalling these seniors? Absolutely nothing!  

We could have benefited a lot had a young gun been given chances instead. Who knows, he probably would have been just as good as virat! We will never find out unless we don't give our youth chances like other teams do!

I agree to an extent but some of the youngsters have themselves to blame for not being consistent at the domestic level

After Kohli the next batch of youngsters who could have debuted would have been Mandeep Singh,Unmukt Chand,,Sanju Samson etc.But these guys have fallen away in domestics so how can selectors pick them?

The selection of Yuvraj once again in the ODI team just proves my OP right. We are not gaining anything by recalling these useless seniors. Have faith in our youth for goodness sake

Fully agree. Rishabh Pant is a cricketer who needs to be fast tracked in the Indian team. He is too good to be wasted in domestic cricket

Rishabh Pant has already shown he belongs to international cricket with 59 off 36 balls in the warm up match against England and he should be included in the Test team against Bangladesh & Australia and then in the ODI team after CT 

We have already lost some youngsters in recent years by not fast tracking them to international cricket even though they were ready at that time and that dented their confidence and they are not even doing well in even Ranji now :(

Not every teenager is a Tendy or a Kohli.  And searching for the next young thing often leads to overlooking quality prospects who may not fit the teenage prodigy mould.  

 

Selectors also brought in Jayant Yadav at the right time, they threw in Hardik Pandya into the T20 mix at the right time and have rightly brought him into the Text squad without any FC track record.  Young Rishabh's time will definitely come, especially as he's coming of age at the right time - when Team India has spots opening up for a good hitter as well as the next solution at 'keeper.  Shami and Bhuvi have been also given opportunities early in their career.  

 

 

Why can't we have rotation policy the same which Dhoni has adopted to get rid of ( Tendulkar, Sehwag and Gambhir). Why can't we give chance to Pant and Kishan to play bilateral ODI where Dhoni can play as a batsmen or sit out for the few of the matches or else these guys can play as pure batsmen when Dhoni is keeping. Coz knowing Dhoni's unpredictability we are not sure what moment he anounces his retirement and then  we would not have any option of discussing let them play  few more session get them acquainted with skill of keeping and blah blah, i am still confident that there is no training better then onjob training and all we are talking about providing them chance in limited overs and not test cricket directly. I am not sure how an Yuvraj, Raina , Rahane are better selection then Pant, Kishan , Pandey and Huda. Also we should ready to accept that not everyone will have a successful career there are always a bad examples and good examples it doesn't mean we should stop trying, even if one or two of them will be successful it will be good for Indian cricket.
