Has played just 1 FC, but having seen him few times now in this on going tournament, he looks like someone who can tonk the ball. Is pretty tall and can hit the ball big. May be he can be developed into a good hitter down the order. This is good batting. Get him in India him. This guy can bat in List A, surely.
rkt.india Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Milind consistently bowled in 130s today and at times hurried the batsman. Nair got out on one such delivery. But I am apalled seeing the change in his bowling action. Look, compare him to his bowling action 2013. It was so much better, body was better aligned at the crease, bringing the ball back in, bowling closer to stumps. Now, he bowls so much wide of the crease that it is impossible to get that inswing going and also head falling towards his right, not using his nonbowling hand well enough. Dont know who had advised him. He could bowl far quicker if he goes back to old ways. He needs to watch these old videos of him. tweaker and Mosher 2

Those videos are not at real time, someone increased the playback time to make him look faster. Anyways, bowling action is stil not that big of a problem as much as he is not using the crease well. Right now he jstrying to get that much angle, which is a big problem. Also he is running in slow. Need to run harder to gain some speed momentum. Right now he runs in like a canon fodder. He is too good for that. There is no proper rhythm in his runnig right now, infact there is lot of inconsistency.

I am talking his balance at the crease and how well his load up. Right now, he is bowling too wide off the crease which is resulting in his head falling to right side and poor use of non-bowling hand, also losing his inswing that process. Dont know who has advised him to change things. Mosher 1
Cricketics Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 These guys need to learn how to dive or slide.

Cricketics Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 That was a shocker decision. The standard of Indian umpiring has been really ooor recently. Clear edge.

Chama has lost his inswing because of him going wider of the crease. Now Chama is just bowling wide of the crease and using the angle to get the ball across the right hander. This ploy should only be used as a variation but this has become his stock delivery now. Inswinger should be his main ball.
rkt.india Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Speed guns are fine. Both Vinay and Aravind bowling their normal pace.

What did I mention?I said action isn't that big of deal as much as him trying to get that angle coming far from the wicket. Also the run up is very inconsistent. He sometimes run in from 22 yards then at times a much shorter run up. He probably doesn't even have a marker there to consistently start his run up from the same place.
