Could have used him with the new ball and tried 2 later.

True, they got the medium pace bowler and did not even bring him. May be henis injured and out of field. Doubt that though. Did not even see him get hirt or something.

Would have still liked to see him bowl an over with the new ball. Even Bumrah doesn't bowl much with new ball. So if they pock him with Bumrah in the team also, it is important to know the new ball. Impportant to develop bowlers who can bowl both with old and the new ball. That control of swing if learned early is precious. This is where all the new pace bowlers struggle when they come against hitters like Sehwag and Warner who dismantle them on one error.
