I see Dravid made a lot of changes for the last match. He is focusing on creating a larger pool of players

He is trying different players because U19 WC is still a long way away. Players like Anukul Roy, Ishan Porel and Shivam Mavi were not selected in the original squad but made a huge difference to this team once they were drafted in after the warm up game against England U19 and losing the first one day. With this approach, they will come to know who are the best among these for U19 WC.

And to think Shivam Mavi was not in the original U19 squad. He was picked by Dravid after seeing him in the warmup game against England.

Dravid has shown , intelligence, balanced approach, fortitude and ideal way of building bench and grooming identifying young players, only if he could do that when he was a captain, but unfortunately Guru Greg was all encompassing.

Selectors should take a leaf out of Dravid book and learn, Dumbo's have no inkling, Zonal squads are poor , so A squads and no idea about grooming young bowlers at all.

Dravid is the opposite of Dhoni in this terms, Dhoni had no vision or love for grooming, identifying, building a team, n kept blaming about talent void, since our selectors are dodos , captain has to be proactive.

Kumble , Virat has shown within a short time how bad Dhoni was as a captain.

Dravid's inputs for our A team selections as well as suggestions for our national team have all been very good.

He has been selecting the right kinds of bowlers and have asked for added players for the A team even.
