grasinaamasa Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 (edited) In regular cricket it's all about eye and hand co-ordination, here it's ear and hand co-ordination. In fact, it is a modified version of cricket which is designed to be played by blind and partially sighted athletes. The following are the main topics to play Blind Cricket: Ball (Auditory Ball): The ball used is significantly larger than the regular cricket ball and is filled with ball bearings that provide audible cues. Stumps: The stumps used are also much larger than regular cricket stumps. It made up of hollow metal pipes, it should have three tubular stumps that is either fluorescent orange or yellow and many more. Segregation of Players: There are a total number of 11 players in the two teams playing the match. Each team has four players who are totally blind, categorised under B1. Three players, partially blind, categorized under B2 and four players, partially sighted, categorized under B3. What's wrong in believing that some players even with disabilities could be better than others? Have I abused Dhoni? Have I called him Jharkhani ***%%( like others on this forum? If you want to be under the misconception that these players are not past their prime, than let it be. Both these guys haven't done jackshit in T20s in almost a decade. sscomp32 and sandeep 2

Not abused but you bringing Dhoni in every thread including u19 thread where we are discussing under 19 and now here where the thread is about blind cricket, is just funny how Dhoni appears even here. sscomp32 and Sidhoni 2

U-19 thread? What did I say wrong there? I said they will have to warm the benches anyways since these players wont be dropped. It's the truth. This thread is about T20. I made a joke about doing better than Dhoni and Yuvi. Geez. Grow a funny bone.
