Sam Billings has this "IT factor" about him

I am really warming up to this guy...looks better than Roy or Baristow. I think he will be the Top ODI bat in the years to come.

Very good player...something about him tells me he has big things in store.

Sure you dont mean Buttler?

Nope Billings....I must admit I was late to spot Butler's talent....missed the bus on that one...but yes Butler is a mercurial talent too.

He was taking guard when I was typing and starting this thread....because of slow ICF server,by the time this thread got published he was in the 30's in no time...and now nearing a 50.

Just want to make sure we are clear on that

200's against the then reigning WT20 champs and a 200 against the current world ODI champs is equal to mauling WI

Yes WI has suffered the mauling like many other teams unfortunately.

Cm'on you have better cricketing acumen than that ...anyway this thread is to discuss the mercurial talent of Billings.

@maniac if you're looking for someone else to actually hype before they become world class can I recommend both of the Curran brothers? Tom will hopefully debut this series whilst Sam is being ripped to get picked for the Ireland series, which I think would make him England's 2nd youngest debutant ever in any format?

Will keep an eye out for them....it is not hype really....I mean any enthusiast be it wine, food, cricket etc etc will just see the spark in whatever interests them...I just see it in players and want to discuss this on a cricket forum...I could see Smith being unfairly criticised as a hack when he had nerves of steel and tremendous hand eye coordination which I knew will make him a very good cricketer...I will be honest I didn't see him becoming a bradman incarnate or a borderline ATG already but you just know it if you follow the game with passion.

Yes I will watch out for the Curran bros, let us see what they got.
