Hawkeye wants a lot of money and ICC doesn't want to pay up - that's the hold up AFAIK.    Btw, did you see Jarrod Kimber's tweets on the brain fade cover up?  He sure isn't "stumped" (or willfully blind) by the bleedingly obvious.

Why is Hawkeye asking money to let the third umpire watch the live feed and spot no balls? Hawkeye wouldn't even be used for that.

That's the latest ICC workaround - original proposal was to automate noball calls - i.e. the beep similar to tennis.

Umpires call shouldn't cost you a review. That's one change ICC needs to make. Apart from that I think other rules are good for close calls.

It would defeat the purpose of drs meant for howlers.Almost every close decision would be referred by teams since it cost them no reviews especially LBW's. Some restriction needs to be present.

Tendu & Dhoni were firmly against DRS all these years

Kumble was also a huge opponent.Surprised its during tenure we have finally accepted the drs .

Full credit has to go to Kohli for that I think .We were pretty moronic in our stand on DRS.
