vvvslaxman
The way Dhawan got out against willey symbolizes his struggles against left arm seamers. Especially when there is a bit of swing. I have seen both Rohit and Kohli having trouble against them. Rahul yet to be known. Our top order has to address this. UrmiSinhaRay and LORD_analyst 1 1 Link to comment
RAZPOR
Everyone struggles against left armers ,just because there aren't many around and most batsmen grow up being fed right armers. Moochad and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment

gattaca
They can sort out only if we have someone bowling in nets or play for India. It’s just the angle. In ODIs yes but tests not much. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Yes prior to World Cup they should start practicing against lefties. Link to comment
Clarke
Nope, just against movement or good bowling. With some assistance, even Lakmal rattled our batting. vvvslaxman and UrmiSinhaRay 2 Link to comment
Austin 3:!6
Rohit Sharma still has no idea how to play Aamir LORD_analyst and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment
vvvslaxman
If we get technical about it Kohli who has the habit of playing anything even on the off stump through mid-wicket. It is hard to do that against left hander's angle. Rohit Sharma's problem is the inability to pick even the slightest movement. Hence gets out plumb often against left armers. Rahane is one guy who has done okay against left-arm seamers. Having said that we have only 4 quality fast bowlers in the world cricket. starc, wagner, boult, aamer. Rest are manageable. Turning_track
I feel its about having more of a habit of facing them more often in nets & domestic/international matches. IIRC at one point of time around 2006-07 Zaheer, Nehra, Irfan, RP used to be in contention in playing eleven. Now we dont have that luxury barring Unadkat whose stock ball is a slower ball. Kohli did get out in WC semis & CT final against Johnson, Amir but both of those deliveries were good. Both times we were chasing & needed quick runs under pressure. I think Kohli can handle it, meanwhile Rohit seems hopeless when there is slightest movement irrespective being a left armer or a right. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
I am not sure if it is debatable now. Link to comment
