Trichromatic
Will be worse if you tke out the WI series at home. Yeah, just 35 if we remove home matches. Link to comment
Crookbond
Will be worse if you tke out the WI series at home. I don't want to, lets be fair. All of them played - even this for me is not something good. Also 13 Test matches is a lot. But, elephant in the room! :elefant: Link to comment

wanted_desi
Its time to retire, when your biggest fanboy (Gavaskar) is hinting that you have gotten so old that you are getting bowled. :D Link to comment
Sid
So disappointing to see Sachin has brought this situation of people asking "When" instead of "Why" retiring. Link to comment
The Realist
Has brought it on himself, picks and chooses which series to play as if a player-manager in football. Is OLD - does not score big anymore, reflexes have gone and offers little else in the field. Is close to becoming a passenger in the team much like the useless openers. Link to comment
vicks
Where are all the "Goddy" and "Bossy" type posters? Come on guys, post your opinion/defense. Link to comment

saneindian
Kuch bhi ho, for the next test, Kohli should bat at 4. Sachin needs to move down the order irrespective of how good he is feeling and how well he is enjoying the game. Link to comment
jairamesh
Maybe needs to play some Ranji before England series. And dare I say justify his selection for the England series. Link to comment
BERGKAMP
age is catching up with these guys, and it is going to get worse and worse. this is just the start of the decline. their egos will decide when to retire, which will mean the fans will have to suffer a bit more yet. Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Have people traveled in Indian local buses. When there is huge crowd rush people who are agile will quickly get into the bus and secure seats till the other family members get into the bus. Sachin is just doing something similar. He is just keeping his place in the side until Arjun becomes old enough (note not good enough) to play in the Indian team. I don't know how u can blame him for being a responsible father :(( Link to comment
Pagalpanti
So disappointing to see Sachin has brought this situation of people asking "When" instead of "Why" retiring. Not the first time though. The question has been raised since 2004 ever since he got that tennis elbow. Each time he's proved them wrong :giggle: Sachin is still good enough for tests. Going through a lean patch. Should retire from ODI's though. Link to comment
