PBN
Chandan's been a regular in LOI's for Punjab for a couple of seasons if I'm not mistaken. Played a few good knocks in Challenger or one of the other tourneys This tournament only has two matches for a team if we exclude the one off QF Semis and Final Link to comment
saneindian
good to see 2 leggies in NZ squad but no Ladda !! Who the hell is Chandan Madan. Why no Uday Kaul ? curious to see if Manpreet Juneja makes into WZ squad. Uday Kaul didn't play one dayers for Punjab this season. Wonder why they picked Madan, Puneet Bisht of Delhi had done better. Also the squad has 8 Punjab players but Delhi which won the Vijay Hazare trophy has just 2 players, GG and Awana! Reason? The zonal squads were chosen much before the VH trophy could conclude. You sure? Chandan 190 runs at an average of 63 Bisht 172 runs at an average of 34 Though i agree with the few Dilli players. Chand should should've been in the squad if he's not injured. rkt.india
Pritam Das from Assam has taken VP Singh's place.Pritam has got some pace. Yes saw Pritam Das in ICL 5-6 years back as 18-19 year old, was touching 140 then, had a good action, getting outswing. Here is an old article. He did well this Vijay Hazare trophy. He needs to play more FC matches for Assam. http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/Silchar/message/844 Link to comment
rkt.india
Mani Shankar Mura Singh is the only Tripura player to have made to the squad. He is pacer who can bat a bit too and has been rated highly by Abey Kuruvilla. He is a bowler with pace and good action according to Venkat Ananth who watched Tripura versus Himachal Ranji match live in Nadaun. Link to comment
