SightForTheGods
What a great consistency for the tournament ! He helped us big time today. He should have been given the man of the tournament !! Well done Gambhir ! You were the man of the series for me ! Link to comment
Cricketics
exactly.. there were some ppl who were jusrt bashing him through out the tournament. guy scored most runs for us in this tournament even hiz todayz knock was very handy. well done gambhir.. Link to comment
Predator_05
Easily India's best batsman today. A performance like that in a FINAL - when it was on the line - wow. Anyone who watched this match can tell you how much the other batsmen - even the likes of red hot YUVRAJ and Uthappa - were struggling to hit out. Gambhir's innings made the difference for India. Hell, i'd even give him man of the match because without that innings of his India would have slumped to a sub-100 total. Link to comment
The Outsider
If Gambhir had not been unlucky with his dismissal, we would have had a cakewalk. Link to comment
Gaurav
Gambhir the baby face warrior! Link to comment
bigdhoni7
I was dead wrong about Gambhir. I fully admit this and I'm proud he proved me wrong. Link to comment
Predator_05
Yuvraj was India's best batsman in this tournament, but India couldn't have done it without Gambhir and ROHIT SHARMA. The latter showed maturity beyond his years to play those VITAL cameos - first vs SA, then in this FINAL. He is going to be a brilliant batsman. Link to comment

yoda
Top class knock today. Link to comment
fineleg
Gambhir's knock worth in gold. The pitch and Pak bowling attack, both, required a batsman who can show footwork to spinners. Gambhir's footwork to spinners creaming boundaries was brilliant. Link to comment

Lurker
Fantastic knock by Gambhir. What makes this team great is that everyone contributed. Gambhir came good in a pressure final, hats off to him. Link to comment
ludhianvi
Well played innings, could've easily got the MoM Link to comment
Promeet
Yuvraj was India's best batsman in this tournament, but India couldn't have done it without Gambhir and ROHIT SHARMA. The latter showed maturity beyond his years to play those VITAL cameos - first vs SA, then in this FINAL. He is going to be a brilliant batsman. I think that in all the games two of three of our guys came good. Gives me a sense of calm going into the Australian and Pakistani series Link to comment
Yuvraj4Captaincy
Very good knock by him. I was a lil pissed at the end, he slowed down but again in hindsight ....a great knock in the context of the game as he scored the chunk of the runs at a rapid pace tonite Link to comment
King Tendulkar
So once again I was spot on. For months/nearly a year I was saying he was class and needed a run. That he was top scorere in FC cricket /challenger etc. He should be in test side as well Link to comment
beetle
He is my man of the series..... Link to comment
Gambit
What a terrier Gambhir is! Fearless and aggressive yet frustrating given the number of times he's gotten out in 20s and 30s. So happy that he came came good in the final. Was unlucky to get out against Aus after playing an awesome shot. Great knock today! Link to comment
zubinpepsi
he shud open along with sachin in ODIs... and ganguly shud b told to retire after this aussie ODI series Link to comment
Predator_05
Gambhir has emerged from this tournament a better player than he was previously. I think he has shown the selectors enough for them to contemplate dropping/demoting Saurav Ganguly. He also had a very good England tour. Plenty of food for thought. Link to comment
