So essentially the fans are asking for him to be dropped because he has not performed for 5 innings at the very start of his Test career.

Plenty of options - Jadhav and Bawne are my current picks. In the future, one can expect Baba to come into consideration since he's a useful part-timer. There's many other senior players around too such as the two Tiwarys, etc.
