My point is that you will need to be consistent before you make it to the team. Some players do it early, some do it late and most never manage to do so. At this point you can't say anything about Vohra as he hasn't shown consistent performances the way Pandey has started showing.

Doesn't slog. He was impressive couple of seasons ago when KXIP reached the final. MCcricket and Bleed-Blue 2

Pant is being touted as a potential India player despite being 19 or 20 coz he has shown he can string together consistent performances. Vohra hasn't. When he does he will be considered too.

Sandeep99 Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Very talented stroke player. As good as young Murali Vijay, dare I say. But he lacks temperament and consistency. You know a wicket is around the corner when he's playing. If he can get more solid, we have an amazing prospect at our hands.
Pollack Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Manan, Mayank, Mandeep, Gurkeerat are not good enough to be even discussed. Any player can take their game to 360 degree turn around though.But its most unlikely with these players though.
Silva Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 (edited) The reason why he isnt consistant in Ipl might be because he has a career strike rate over 135. Most indian openers in the ipl have strike rates below 125. They just save their wickets and try and let the lower order batsman do the heavy lifting where as maybe Vohra tries to hit out more rather than waste to many delivieries.
