Now that Joe Root that thrown down the gauntlet by scoring 133* on one leg virtually , how will Virat " The Ego" Kohli respond?

This Testosterone fuelling pitch may backfire against bigger teams. Specially likes of Aussies, Africans and Indians. I would say even windies would have a good chance on them oval kind of tracks.

There will be games, where despite the pitch, weather will take over and may make it look very embarrassing scorecard for England

Most players would have scored double hundreds blind folded on that flat oval pitch

India has two games on it minimum so we will see...looking forward to seeing Indian batsmen batting blindfolded

^ Mentally, That was Super knock. But you got to admit that if Bongs didnt choked they would have easily scored around 340/2 and England would have chased it as well.

There is no competition  Kohli and Root in limited overs arena

What people coulda and shouda done is of no relevence to what they actually do.

No competition between the two of them? You dont know sportsmen if you think that either them or Warner or ABD dont want to be top run getter as well as team champions...

Don't worry about India and individual stats, India already won this CT twice

better England focus winning their first ODI ICC cup

The way I see it Kohli has already helped his team win a World Cup and Champions trophy. Let's see if mental midget Root ever manages to help England win anything of note :giggle:

But knowing Root and England I wouldn't hold my breath :agree:

Case in point we all know who showed up when it counted in the CT final. One guy showed up at the crunch and helped his team win and the other guy as usual failed when it mattered but wouldn't mind hammering that perennial cricketing giant B'desh :phehe:

Here's the scorecard of the CT final and we can all see who the Champion was :agree:

If England hasnt got explosive batsmen like Hales, Morgan,Butler, Bairstow, Even best of Root will loose England all the matches. He can not chase down a target. His role is more of Rahul Dravid from India. Play the anchor role. More likely then not is explosive batsmen fail in bowling condition.

ABD and Kohli are different league. They hunt down targets even if explosive batsmen fail.

More buts, if , coulda, shoulda... The fact is England do have those batsman and not by luck, a devised plan from 2 years ago. From the coach i may add. The one who gets on with his captains too.

You are only as good as your last game,

India's master plan for 2017 is YS and Rahane?.... Good luck on that one

I have my own opinion on BCCI , not sure it would go down to well on here...but it involves a lot a men being marched to prison, a lot of ex players finding a set of balls and a tongue and say what they think and know rather than want to be liked for ever more
