philcric Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 Azam and Hafeez doing it easy. No wicket for 10 overs. SA needs one NOW !
sandeep Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Rain seals it for the Pak I think. Full game and they would have out-choked the saffers. Vilander 1
Cricketics Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Still a wicket here can keep pak in trouble. Tahir bowling really well. Someone needs to do the same from the other end. Also need a wicket.

They almost lost a wicket in the 20th over, which would have put them 10 runs behind par on DL method. They are 4 runs ahead now.

philcric Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 78/2 SA needs 2 more wickets before the score reaches 100.
sandeep Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Have to say, for a low scoring game, this one was quite an entertaining one.

Yep, keep Tahir one end and bring Rabada for few overs. Keep one deep Fine leg for the short ball and one Deep backward Point fielder for the short ball on off.
philcric Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 Pak doing it easy. Morkel needs to create some magic in this over.
philcric Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 (edited) Morne !!!!!!!!!!! 93/3 1 more needed within the next 7 runs. Edited June 7, 2017 by philcric

He let this partnership develop instead of going for the kill with proper field placements. SA are just too stupid to win from tough situations.

I won't call him an extremely bad captain because he does do good at times and manages his players well at times like his captaincy was brilliant in the last game against lanka, in fact it was his captaincy which got them back in the game when lanka was cruising. But them AB is so inconsistent in his captaincy that he often won't use the same scenario and logic against certain teams like he delayed it today. Inconsistent captain who knows how to win matches but just fickle minded. Thinking too much right now, should just go with his gut feeling. This is something to do with him goingng in an out of the team because of injury I feel. If he captains south africa regularly, might be better then.

Was horrible in WC 2015. Put his own team under pressure by claiming they weren't practising hard enough. Consistently makes poor tactical decisions. Hardly ever is pro-active with field or bowling change. Sometimes the best players don't make the best leaders. Cricketics 1
philcric Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 Rain or no rain, Pak has it in the bag. Rabada has been a little disappointing.
