There is zilch you learn from county cricket as a batsman that you can't from Ranji.

 

As if playing in counties helps one learn playing short pitch bowling

 

Most of our batsmen are far superior players of short pitch bowling than English batsmen.

Raina deserves to play before Yuvi, Dhoni , is younger n ideal for ODi n middle order , finisher.

Infact Yuvi would have played last year but didn't get BCCI approval
