The way Rayudu is belittled one would assume he is the worst batsman in history of cricket which is not true. But who cares. Lmao. N.B: Please this is not comparison between Rayudu and Jadhav. Jadhav is head and shoulders above. Tbf that's actually not even a fair comparison (I know you mentioned that it's not a comparison) Rayadu strike rate is beyond pathetic and it was totally right to kick him out. His overall strike rate was mid 70s, and if you take his innings against Zimbabwes, it will dip below 70 which is criminal. He was such a slow starter that if he didn't click, he was costing India the games. Also, his average in domestics list a was 40. Really far away from Jadhav with 50 plus best thing about Jadhav is, he rotates from ball 1. So even if gets out quick, you will see 23 of 23, 32 of 31. Compare that to Rayadu. When gets out, you see 23 of 47, 32 of 59 balls. These are some match loosing innings. Link to comment

First we say the guy needs experience in domestics. He needs to be grinded. And when they play 10 years of domestics, perform consistently, the guy is old. Sucks to be Jadhav. The swords are out on him everytime India looses. But Rohit and Rahane are the cool and orthodox Mumbai batsmen cuz they are the saviours of India Link to comment

He is most impact bat down the order the only one in the squad who can fetch quick runs done multiple times. I am talking about his big-game temperament. He seems to get bog down when there's a pressure to perform and he can always say others have failed so it doesn't matter if I fail too. England's lower order batting have shaped many wins over the last two years, something Jadhav can learn from. He's no longer a youngster and played many games for RCB. Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Two things . First he bowls at a slower pace which means batsmen have to generate their own pace .So hitting down the ground is harder unless they have quick feet.So they often choose the cross batted shots which is easier to generate pace. But the advantage here for Jadhav is his action.Because of his slingly action he bowls at a low trajectory and so doesn't generate bounce and also harder to pick.So playing cross batted shots becomes lot more dangerous and brings wickets . Thats the major factor for his success. flamy 1 Link to comment
someone
^ I disagree. Jadhav is one bowler who would get smashed at lower levels. But at the highest level, he comes across as a surprise package and that works for him well. Remember the case of Ajit Chandila? G_B_ 1 Link to comment
pnimesh1955
Its matter most when SRT bowls his off spin to take important wicket.God Given Gift to jadhav, but how and when your captain use depends upon his success. Joe root promoted Mo in 4 test vs SOA he took 25 wickets,i doubt Cook can hardly given him longer spell.Kohli is smart captain, its lot depends on team's Leader when to utilize your spinner For better interest of your team. pnimesh1955
In worst case scenario, hard hitter player like seekude prasana of Srilanka or Zaman of pakistan can destroys him easily on any given days but most time players got out of him Because of either over confidence or Slog or in crease NRR.
