Lets have just the chit chat thread and anything non cricket goes in there. There would be far me dicussions and debates. In fact why bother with sepertae sports scetion(no one uses) again put that in chit chat to boost hits. Really miss the very informative political and religious discussions. Frankly at times they were highly educational! I think there is merit in the argument about merging back the Politics section with Chit Chat, though at the same time I would want few of threads from Chit Chat should be moved to Nerd Talk and make it a broader section beyond just Science and Math into Technology.

I guarantee site activity would increase massivley and the discussions would be enthralling to follow even if not participating. I know this was done to avoid abusive/offensive disscussions but I feel the site has moved on from that!
