Is there a way I can limit the number of posts to 10 or 20 per page instead of the current 40? Can I personalize that setting for my account? Thank you. I'm still unable to put up a profile pic :((

Idea regarding creating match threads There is a sticky thread from Rajiv regarding streamlining of creating match threads. I have been a long time member of another very popular nhl forum which has match threads. It has system which works very well and very popular. 1. There is a sticky sign up thread for requesting permission for creating game day threads where users post requesting permission. 2.The moderators select users few days in advance based on many different criteria (user's luck in previous matches, number of posts, first come first serve, previous thread quality, giving everyone equal opportunity to everyone etc). 3. The list regularly updated in the first post, so everyone knows the person responsible for creating the match thread atleast couple of days in advance. 4. The person responsible for creating for the game thread puts some effort into collecting relevant information for the game such as *starting lineup, *channel the match is shown on *online viewing sites *weather conditions *ground report *previous results/stats, *news reports/articles, etc. The forum I am part of take great pride in their game threads and come up new ideas, themes for the threads. Following are some of the examples of game threads. 1.http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=784541 2 http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=867085 3. http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=867027 4. http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=865892 5. http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=865217 Just my 2 cents. Now back to lurking :winky:

That is something brilliant. Must take a lot of work. Usually a cricinfo match preview provides most of that information. So it can be done. Regarding players profiles. Maybe if someone can set up a page which would be able to collect info from cricinfo (sqaud details) and then pull stats off the ICF stats page and generate forum code for it - ahh all this seems pretty far fetched for the moment

Smileys don't work for me..why are you doin' this to me :whack:
The Smiley Union has gone on strike indicating that its workers are being worked overtime without any rest. According to sources, the smiles were being made to jump, roll, cry, laugh, and hold numerous signs without proper pay and rest; as well as abuses and accusations hurled at them by the posters. As a result, they were not happy and have gone on vacation. :-)
