Only 3 batsmen in Indian cricket team

This has to be one of the weakest and most fragile batting line ups taken overseas in recent times.

Selecting Dhawan and Sharma is effectively going in with 9 players.

Vijay is in decline.

Pujara seems unable to score big on tours.

Kohli does not inspire much confidence either.

150 with some hitting by the tail seems to be the limit of what this inept lot can hope to achieve.

Just to highlight how these experts and probably captain may be thinking:

After being reminded about Rahane's away average of 53, SA avg of 69, Gavaskar says this:

You will also have consider that if Rahane plays, Panday woudn't have played and he has done well in this test. Maybe in next test you will have to drop a seamer, Bumrah, but he has done well. All seamers have done well.

Such blind supporters. Can't see the obvious that Pandya is probably better batsman than Rohit and all other bowlers bring more value in him.

Kick Pujara out from the team or either ask him to open.He kills the whole momentum. The only place has has been successful out side home against a strong side has been SAF. Now he is proving worthless there too.Just because of his track record in Asia  he is being played  at the cost of ' confirmed team losses'.If India can't win at home even with all rounders like Ashwin,Pandya,Jadeja & Saha in the side along with 5 main batsman & still hence still need the service of Pujara, they don't deserve to play.
