The Realist Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Looks like it is shaping up to be another horror tour of England with a mentally scarred and fragile batting line-up capitulating in seaming and swinging conditions. If anything the current lot look worse than the squad on the 2011 and 2014 tours. In 2011 they never crossed 300 and its looking like 250 is the limit of present ambitions. There is more chance of Cheerleader knocking back 300 shots/pints on tour than seeing 300 runs on the scoreboard Switchblade 1
BeautifulGame Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 With this batting line up , I can easily see us getting bundled out for double digit score in one of the tests when Broad goes on his rampage run.
mishra Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) I think Kohli has got allmost right team. All he needs to do is find another spinner for Ishant like Kuldeep/Ashwin. Our pace attack is brilliant. If we reach in good time and improve our slip catching and not give up. mentally, We should be fine. But kohli needs to tell all the 9 + Saha Ashwin and Kuldeep that they will be part of team irrespective of what. If we win in England fine else he will not mind going down with them. Believe me that will give enough boost to the players to give 100% for their captain. PS: Sharmas (not personnel milestones) out of system. Edited January 24, 2018 by mishra sandeep and philcric 2
