FFS, read the story fellows- he's pled not guilty.  That's a whole universe different from the court deciding he's not guilty.

Ben Stokes, on Tuesday (February 13), pleaded not guilty to a charge of affray on grounds of self-defense. The case will now be heard in Bristol Crown Court on March 12, which means he could theoretically play in the ODI series against New Zealand.

It's just the beginning.

Shameless ECB remain shameless.

Stokes pleads not guilty, despite overwhelming evidence proving otherwise. Before it goes to court to be cleared or charged, they're already helping him pack his bags to join the squad in NZ.

What type of law is this? There was a CCTV footage in which Stokes clearly beat the hell out of that guy

It's called real law where someone charged can plead not guilty and mount a defence, then after listening to the prosecution and the defence arguments a verdict will be heard.

Also someone is innocent until proven guilty , that's how real law works .
