English pitches demand the art of leaving the ball on 4th, 5th stump. Vijay is world's best at that. Not sure if Shaw has it.

English pitches dont demand the art of leaving the ball on 4th stump . That will be deadly. too close to leave. Thats the area bowlers are supposed to bowl from 4th to off stump. 5th stump yes you shouldnt be playing at that. In India you are supposed to bowl on 5th. Ishant bowls at 4th stump line...in the other direction

I don't watch much of IPL or T20 cricket in general. But what struck me was the general talent available when it came to wrist spin or genuine pace bowling and its clear that we have quite a bit of talent coming through which can be considered international standard. Impressive!

Lets list the positives of this IPL  for the future of our indian crciket

1) KL Rahul will be  in the playing xi by default in all the three formats ( kohli package  > rahul package for now )

2) Hardik's bowling ( need a pace bowling allrounder )

3) Young indian pace bowlers ( probably many got exposure than any other IPLs )

4) Young indian batsmen are doing well ( pant , iyer , shaw , gill etc ) 

5) Dhonis new approach to batting ( or back to his 2009/10 self )  

6) Raina is out of form and will be kicked out of our T20 team for good ( so he cnat sneak into our ODI team )
