Does India need Pandya for England test series?

give this guy more chances.... he has potential as he showed with that 93 vs  SAF.  And he is a skiddy customer with the ball.With more swing getting in ENG, he could be successful in bowling too.

we did play two spinners last tour to England.  TBH, it depends on conditions. you cannot go with preconceived thoughts.

my strategy for England test series:

 

green pitch - bhuvi, bumrah, Umesh, Ishant - 80 overs per day... Murli vijay and kohli can fill in for 10 overs before we take the second new ball. we play 7 batsmen including kdk and no hardik

 

flat wicket - bhuvi, Umesh, Ishant, ashwin, hardik. we play 6 batsmen on this wicket including kdk

 

subcontinental type spin wicket (extremely rare, but if they are stupid enough to give this to us) - bhuvi, Umesh, Ishant, ashwin, Jadeja. we play 6 batsmen including kdk.

hardik is reqd on flat pitches.....if green then don't pick him s his batting is dicy against seaming balls.

He has 80 odd against South Africa when every one in the team failed on a green pitch. He played another good innings in Australia on A tour when every one failed as well.

he nicked 3 odd balls and was droopped once, didn't crry to slips..if he wants , then must perform on india a tour to england.

you are always going to get plays and misses and edges that falls short on green pitches.
