Pandya is not at all dependable against fast bowlers as we saw in SA and Eng.Pandya is not an answer to anything.They need to find two bats before world cup.

Horses for courses. Pandya would get 10 more runs. Jadeja would get you 2 more wickets. Choose depending on the pitch and playing condition. All am saying is No 7 should not be fixed

For that we needed strong  No.4 to No.6 batters who are big hitters.

 

As it stands, Pandya is the only big hitter we have in the middle order ... which is unthinkable in this day and age in ODIs.

When there no pressure to win, those performances have no value.Match was gone by the time he came into bat,I never said it was his fault India lost match , do you have comprehension issues.Don't glorify that innings as if it was some great innings.

 

Pandya is not an asnwer to anything. India has to keep looking for middle and lower middle order.

Rahul, Rayudu, Karthik, Panday and co have not yet put a convincing claim to the #4 slot so Pandya at 4/5 is not a bad idea at all .... may be even consider trying out Gill or Pant

Nope. Not good enough to play @ 6. Rayudu has an average of 50 but still does not have a spot in the team. When u habd ppl like him in bench how can u play pandya at 6 as a batsman

Nope Just a myth again. DK averages 50 after comeback. Rayudu average is in 50s. Both are doing well in the limited chances given. 

And even if they dont perform we have players like Gill Iyer Pant waiting. 

Why should we go for Pandya @ 4

rayudu cnt score jacshit against quality attack , we all remeber how he cudnt even touch the ball when he went to NZ n AUS

with s/r of 76 he wnt play at 7

 

ODI is about impact, rayudu is anything but impact 

 

Pandya is a far better batsman then rayudu whose avg is stacked up by scoring against minnows

it wasnt over we still had jadhav, its not over till its over

HE alone took us to stage where we were in check with RR , other didnt do anything. HAd jadeja not done that blunder he wud have scored more and u never knw

in terms of quality yes pandya has better quality doesnt mean i ask him to play at 3
