Jaddu vs Pandya

It is a shame if we even consider Pandya at no 3/4/5. Insult to the batting reserves, Insult to Domestic competitions, Insult to the team as a whole.

Pandya is better than Jaddu sure. He is competing with Jadeja not with Rayudu. Rayudu is competing with DK/Pandey/Jadhav/Raina/Yuvraj and Rahul

 

out of those names only Rahul is obviously better

Are you sure???

 

Raina was in this team just a couple is months back

 

Yuvraj was done in 2014

 

Jaddu was supposedly done after CT

 

Hell Rayudu himself was done after 2015 WC

many of these guys(Rayudu, Karthik, etc.) could get found out on the tour to Aus-NZ .... Pandya will be the one of viable options remaining for 4-6 slots.... and then we would be looking for answers when Aus tour Ind for the LOI series and IPL to find an additional viable options for 4-6 (Dhoni would occupy one of these) .... story keeps repeating for Ind .... May be Yuvi could sneak in

Agree. Slow pitch. Team cannot play spin well . Play jadeja as 7 all other places it's Pandya in ODIs. Both are number 7 batsmen. Pandya is a semi batting all rounder and jadeja is semi bowling all rounder . Bits n pieces player.

lol @ people comparing Jaddu with Pandya. this is a no match.

this team needs more of a lower batsman who can supplement pandya in completing his 10 overs quota and jadeja is not that type of player.

Hardik + Krunal/Jadhav combination provides ideal balance to the side as it increases both batting and bowling (5th and 6th bowlers) depth, helping to cover any shortfalls on the day 

 

Likes of Jadeja would be competing for one of the 4 bowler spots. If Jadeja can get in, it provides additional batting capability at #8
