can you read ? I said he was given chances at 4. he was poor at 4,5 and 6.  He himself doesnt want bat at 4 even in IPL he opens. He opens for Karnataka as well and opens in test matches as well. I dont why you want him to bat at 4.   If you are so mad go shout at selectors not at ICF posters.

Kartik by all means is an inadequate player in the long run.Rayudu too has till now inflated  his avg: by bashing lower ranked teams.

It is really annoying  to watch as to the team management preferring these hacks against highly talented youngsters like Pant,Shaw, Iyer     etc etc

You just get  triggered easily.Maybe stop using online forums if you are so touchy.

All you suggested is Rahul has been given enough chances ,which is not true,has played a total of 13 odis at different positions and at long intervals of time.

The problem is he wants to be in top order. Which you are missing. He wants to be opener or one down which is impossible currently in ODI setup. Remember he never played in other positions in domestics too. Not everyone can play at 4,5,6. He is natural stroke maker which makes him suited to top order. He is given few chances is what I said. I didn’t say enough there is a difference.

He played ipl 2016 at 4.he scored t20 century at 4.in odi there are no opening or middle order.

Rahul should be given a consistent run at 3 or 4.He was playing for RCB at 4 & had done well.The problem is team management is hampering his confidence by picking Rayudu & Karthick ahead of him.

Rayudu kept scoring heavily vs SL. Then he was utter trash in Aus.He is a typical FTB.
