Nikola Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 You went too far imo. Half of the players you mentioned will not even be in squad leave bus after Australia series. velu and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1

Then we host Aus and Zim before heading to the WC PS it appears as if we play 3 ODIs in AUS too (and there could be no Zim series) Edited October 29, 2018 by zen Nikola and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1

velu Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 jaddu has highest probability of missing the wc bus .. still that probability is also very low UrmiSinhaRay 1

velu Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 1) rahul - if rahul , jadhav , pant cement their place in the team 2) jaddu - if chahal does really well , then jaddu might miss out .. pandya over jaddu in england 3) rayudu - hits a real bad form UrmiSinhaRay 1
UnknownGenius Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 The only one who may miss bus to WC is Rahul. You need to revise poll to include guys like Pant, Khaleel etc MSD Rayudu Jadeja Jadhav SHould be fixtures along with Bhuvi UrmiSinhaRay 1
zen Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 @Nikola ODi series in Aus is on .... added to the OP

zen Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 (edited) I am likely to vote for most if not all for the following reasons: Rayudu: Not too confident about his success in Aus-NZ, and therefore in Eng. But if he is in the process of setting down at #4, I hope he does well Rahul: Could do a Yusuf Pathan i.e. one great inning and then could go missing. May be rotated so may not establish himself. Could create a compounding effect esp. if he fails in the tests in Aus too Jadhav: Fitness issues. His USP is that he can bowl a few overs but could be rendered relatively ineffective in Aus-NZ Dhoni: Past his best so may struggle to eventually get dropped Bhuvi: High avg and ER specialist bowler. Like Rahul could have an ordinary test series, therefore lack of performances in ODIs could have a compounding effect Jadeja: Specialist LAS do not cut in. Chahal would have to perform terribly for Jadeja to be ahead. But could still squeeze in if we take 3 spinners Edited October 29, 2018 by zen UrmiSinhaRay 1
Adi BB Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Most likely raul and raydud (who'll get exposed in nzl ,aus) .rest of the options are defo going to England UrmiSinhaRay 1
SecondSlip Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 We have IPL just before the World Cup! Rahul, Rayudu, Dhoni & Bhuvi will all perform excellently in IPL 2019 and seal their spots for the World Cup. Jadhav is a good package with both bat and ball, he will also seal his spot for the World Cup. Jadeja should miss out, both Kuldeep and Chahal are better wicket-takers than him. UrmiSinhaRay 1
