He has a long draught period but still a better batsman than unproven batsmen like Travis head, finch or harris. Even during these terrible times, just remember his partnership with kohli and kumar winning us test matches.simply cannot be ignored. Though this series is last chance for rahane.

That's about it. Not sure about Chepu either. In my book, Kohli and Bumrah (and perhaps Shaw) are the only certainties for the Oz squad if playing in Australia; in India, Ash and Jaddu would make the Oz squad easily.

usually, one or two of cummins, pattinson, starc and hazelwood seem to be injured. hence, I think bumrah would make it. not sure about current rahane. dude has avg in the low 30s over the past many tests. the rahane of 2 yrs back would have been a certainty though.
