Sachin,Dada,Sehwag, Gambhir were all great openers but were good enough to bat in the middle order when needed

He was actually not the first choice to take the flight to New Zealand. Mayank Agarwal was going to be picked, but he had a finger injury so Shubman was picked instead.

Far fetched but Shaw, Gill, Pant all three in WC squad could be a distinct possibility now.

I won't mind Iyer also being part of the team. He can be an asset on batting highways.
