Op starts with a Pakistani player, ends with a pakistani player and has one in the middle. Op only has two Indians there and expects us to take him seriously. Sometime me thinks op is a big troll.

Greg Chappell is a must in any ODI all-rounder XI. Batting average of 40+ and a bowling average of 29+ with a very decent WPI ratio of more than 1 wicket per innings. As is Cronje (38+/34+).

Jayasuriya

Gilchrist

Viv

Chappell

Cronje

Symonds

Klusener

Kapil

Pollock

Hadlee

Akram

The only thing it lacks is a truly great spinner.

SRT

Lara

Ponting

Kohli

ABDV

Bevan

Knott

Warne

Starc

Garner

McGrath

The 5th bowling options are obviously meh but I'd still back the specialists to have the edge ever so slightly.

You may want to look at Jacques Kallis in your all rounder team. In some ways he ways Tendulkar plus Zaheer khan

He is nothing like Tendulkar in ODIs. An ATG team doesn't need a batsman striking in the low 70s batting in the top order.

True. Less than Tendulakr certainly but I think average is right up there and then to top it up with bowling like Zaheer.

both are very good picks, but I too give the edge to specialists especially on spinning tracks. P.S: ABDV is good enough to keep for a one-off game, so I'd replace knott (the keeper I assume) with a bowler like Murali (who has a great WC record)

It's not a specialist XI until you pick a pure/specialist keeper :winky:.

No Majid Khan in either team ???? How can Sachin Tendulkar play in place of one and only Majid Khan.Majid Khan could be in both teams as he was handy offspiner too.

These cricket teams involve only human beings. No gods and demigods allowed.
