Certain Mumbai batsmen are just born for batting

I deliberately left out a few because the above ones are different for some reason. The Hunger , the ease etc. Like diminutive Prithvi Shaw who is a solid international batsman, scoring 546 runs in an innings as a 14 yo.

 

Delhi produced some good ones (specially in recent times) but none I would say is 'born for batting' except maybe Kohli and maybe Sehwag (certainly not Gambhir Dhawan Pant).

Gambhir and Dhawan are top notch. Chetan Chauhan was as solid as they come because of his determination but just did not have the runs. Delhi has produced some solid talent

Jaffer and Amol Mazumdar also fall under the born to bat category. Jaffer played very less international cricket and Amol never got a chance but both were run machines in domestic cricket and love to bat, bat, and bat.

Above all of them, there was Vijay Merchant - the Indian Bradman. Our first world-class batsman, who pretty much initiated the Bombay school of batsmanship.
