They made 337 look like 437.337 was certainly a chaseable target against English bowling on that pitch.Kohli has stunk in chases in last two years.There is no fire in him during the chases.I blame yesterday's loss on Kohli more than anyone else.He had to score 150 plus yesterday, if he is the best player he needed to show his class yesterday.

but it's the WC. VK was never a good chaser in WCs. he is mentally not as strong as some think he is. we should not expect a lot from him. better to expect more of rohit and the sadly departed dhawan.

I don't think it is his mental strength, he is playing with lot of circumspection and not freely.He is commiting mistakes which are very unlike him.But if he wants to be known as best chaser and the best player of this generation he has to do something great.

it's also mental states I feel. he is not in the best frame of mind. VK is the kind of guy who gets hyper about WCs, puts too much pressure on himself, and underperforms.

They are just overdoing the riskless cricket, imo. Need a fresh gameplan when they are chasing 300+ scores. This isn't working. Need to better utilize the first powerplay.

Pandya should bat at 4 and send DK for finishing job.  We are holding Pandya's power back. He is more than a slogger. He can construct innings at the right position. Let us not waste his form.
