Yes that would be underselling him. 3 200's and multiple records.  most destructive player of this generation. Look how people talk about Viv Richards even today. Rohit is in the same league

people speak of viv because he was very unusual for that era in having an avg of 45+ and a SR of 90+. in the last 3-4 yrs of viv's career, he declined, otherwise he had an avg of nearly 50 earlier. in this era, there are plenty of batsmen who have avgs of around 50 and SR of over 85. rohit is one, but also VK, ABDV, Root, Amla, etc.

 

btw, I am not trying to diss rohit here. that he is an ATG ODI player is not in doubt (in my mind). there is a good case to be made for him being in an all-time ODI XI as an opener with SRT. in the indian ODI XI, he will definitely be the opener with SRT.
